that thunders,” Victoria Falls. The stay here includes safari in the Chobe Game Reserve in Botswana.
Close encounter with elephants including a ride, if you wish, the Ultimate “Flight of Angels” over the
thundering Falls, energetic song and dance, African beat and nice eating.
Your visit her can easily be planned as a part of a South Africa stay. The easiest way to get to Victoria Falls
is by plane via Johannesburg.
Day 1 |
Arrival Johannesburg from Europe in the morning and on to Victoria Falls, a little more than one hour’s
flight. Transfer from Livingstone Airport in Zambia to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe, only 5
minutes drive from Victoria Falls town. The lodge is set high on a plateau, which forms a natural boundary
to the adjacent Zambezi National Park. The lodge is west-facing with an onsite waterhole which attracts
elephants, many kinds of antelope and herds of buffalos. Treasured residents include warthogs, banded
mongoose, baboons and vervet monkeys. Enjoy the stunning sunset and the distant roar of the thundering
falls 4 Km away.
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, two nights. The lodge has 72 air-conditioned bedrooms, all with bathroom en-suite and private balcony. Wireless access is available throughout the hotel.
We recommend the Boma Restaurant situated in the grounds of the hotel. The Boma is a unique cultural
experience. A gastronomic journey filled with sights and sounds accentuated by cultural entertainment by
Ndebele performers with vibrant song and dance.

There is a lot you can do around the Victoria Falls. You can cruise the Zambezi, go rafting or canoeing, or
try a jet boat. If you want an aerial view of the falls, book a helicopter or a micro light. If you would like
an adrenaline kick, try a bungee jump from Victoria Falls Bridge. Or “enjoy” the Flying Fox Slide with a
free drop of 70 meters before you start to swing. |

This is the only spot in the world where four nations meet. Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe
meet midstream the Zambezi. You enter Botswana on the opposite riverbank where you are taken the
short distance to Elephant Valley Lodge for the coming two nights. The lodge is situated in Kasane Forest
Reserve, between Chobe and Matetsi Reserve in Zimbabwe. The Camp consists of 20 luxurious safari tents
and accommodates up to 40 guests. The spacious tents have single beds and bathroom en-suite.
The guests at Elephant Valley Lodge are encouraged to participate in all the safari activities including safari

elephants block the dirt road. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast or brunch. You can spend some time
by the pool before the afternoon and night safaris up the Chobe River. With the flat bottomed boat we can
get a close look at the game when they come down to the river to drink. You may watch elephants,
