The journey starts with a safari in the heart of Botswana with the combination of the Kalahari desert and the lush Okavango Delta. You then travel to South Africa and enjoy an overnight stay at the Oyster Box Hotel before the journey ends along the coast with pristine straits at Thonga Beach Lodge.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

The journey starts with arrival in Botswana.

Botswana is without a doubt the crown jewel of all noble safari destinations. There will be safaris in both the Kalahari and the Okavango Delta - a unique combination of "dessert and delta". There are guaranteed to be unique safari experiences for life!

DAY 2-3: KALAHARI

You are going on a safari in the Kalahari Game Reserve. Here you will find some of the most unique biological diversity in all of southern Africa. Here in the desert landscape you can, among other things, experience exciting "bush-walks" with local guides. Are you really lucky maybe you will spot the big Kalahari lions!

DAY 4-6: OKAVANGO DELTA

After the morning safari you travel on to the Okavango Delta. In the heart of the delta, there will be accommodation in beautiful classic safari tents. During your stay here you will experience a fantastic exciting animal, bird and plant life. Here you travel on safari either in an open safari car, on foot with skilled guides or with the iconic mokoro boats that glide quietly on the river.

DAY 7: THE OYSTER BOX

You travel on to Durban in South Africa and will stay at the legendary hotel Oyster Box Hotel. Oyster Box has been known for years for its genuine and luxurious character, and is a very popular hotel among our guests. The hotel's fantastic location, exquisite food, award-winning spa and exciting interior make this a hotel experience "in a class of its own". Here you live in a room with a sea view! If you are lucky you may see dolphins or whales swimming past outside.

DAYS 8-11: THONGA BEACH LODGE

Thonga offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and diving. The lodge has its own instructors who offer lightning courses, so that everyone can experience the coral reef that is compared to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. November-February is the season when the large sea turtles lay eggs. The large turtles strive up on the beach to dig deep holes into the eggs they lay before using the last remnant of forces to get out into the sea again.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE

You drive back to Durban airport. Along the way, you can stop at local markets where they sell a lot of fine craftsmanship. Fly home to Norway.
