Experience exciting and diverse wilderness at Zambia's two largest rivers, Zambezi and Luangwa, vital oars for Zambia's nature and wildlife. You go on a safari in the renowned National Parks Liuwa Plain and Lower Zambezi.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL LUSAKA
You arrive at Lusaka and transported to the hotel, Latitude 15 ° in a quiet suburb, 20 minutes from the city center. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a modern African style with restaurant, bar, swimming pool and beautiful garden area.
DAY 2: LIUWA PLAIN
After breakfast you will be picked up at the hotel and driven to the airport to fly to Liuwa Plain. You land on the airstrip in the small village of Kalabo, the last civilization before the wilderness. Here you are met and get a transfer to the lodge both in boat and car. Liuwa Plain is one of the last untouched wilderness areas in Africa, with vast grasslands and wildlife we haven't seen. Here you will find one of Africa's largest gnu migrations as well as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs and many more animals. Here is just one single lodge, brand new and incredibly great!
DAY 3 and XNUM: SAFARI IN LIUWA PLAIN
Along with their dedicated and experienced guide, you will experience magical Liuwa Plain. Open plains as far as the eye can see and large flocks of zebra, wildebeest and many other animals await.
DAY 5: CHONGWE
After breakfast you will be driven to the Kalabo airstrip again and fly to the Lower Zambezi National Park. The flight itself is a wonderful experience. Here you can see large groups of hippos, elephants and antelopes along the Zambezi River, the lifeblood of the national park.
DAY 6 AND XNUM: SAFARI I LOWER ZAMBEZI
By striving for safari activities with so little impact on nature as possible, one has managed to preserve one of the most beautiful wildernesses in southern Africa as it has always been. Lush, green and with a lively wildlife. Along the Zambezi River you often see large flocks of elephants that cool in the water, and buffaloes and antelopes that "jump" between the small islands in the river. There are also good opportunities to see both lions and leopards. Of activities, you can choose between safari in open safari cars, sliding along the river banks in the canoe, safari on foot or by boat. A good variety of this ensures you safari experiences for life!
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
It will be a last morning safari and brunch before heading to the Royal Airstrip and flying to Lusaka. It's time for departure.
