He also has a passion for Johannesburg and is sure to show you an exciting side of both places. The trip goes to Soweto, the largest "black" district in South Africa. Here you get a vivid insight into this part of South Africa's history and people's life. Soweto has become a symbol, both nationally and internationally, of African resistance to the apartheid system!

It's safari time! You drive about 3 hours north from Johannesburg to a private reserve, Welgevonden. The drive takes approximately 3 hours. You arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and join the safari in the afternoon. Time and place are forgotten when a herd of elephants blocks the road!

A typical day on safari starts early in the morning and a simple breakfast is served before the safari departure. After a few hours of exciting safari in the morning sun, you return to the lodge for a healthy "brunch". In the middle of the day it is often too hot for both animals and people, so you may stay around the swimming pool. About. at At 15:00 you meet for "High Tea", a snack lunch, before you go out again on safari with drinks in the sunset over the savannah. The safari is in an open land rover with their own safari guide and "tracker" (track reader), this is how you really get to feel Africa's wildlife.

After the morning safari, you drive back to Johannesburg and fly to Cape Town.

On arrival in Cape Town you will be met and driven to the hotel. Accommodation will be in a central hotel of good standard. Cape Town is considered one of the world's most beautiful cities. With Table Mountain as a backdrop, the city is like "a piece of Europe in Africa".

Days at your own disposal in Cape Town.

In Cape Town you can enjoy good food and wine, the sunset from Table Mountain, go shopping or visit one of the city's many markets. We recommend a day trip to the Cape of Good Hope, a day in the township with the organization Uthando or a visit to Zeitz Mocca.
