SAFARI AND GOLF
South Africa is a perfect destination for those who want to combine golf with safari and other exciting experiences. Here you will find over 500 golf courses surrounded by beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate all year round. This trip goes to the beautiful Garden Route and starts with a unique safari at Gondwana. Furthermore, you travel to Fancourt, known for its excellent golfing facilities and family-friendly hotels.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL
You arrive at George Airport and drive along the Garden Route to Gondwana for safari. Gondwana Game Reserve is the only one in the world with fynbos vegetation. Fynbos is classified as one of the world's six plant species, small in area but large in species richness. The plant kingdom is declared the "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. They also have exciting wildlife, including "The Big Five": lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard.

DAY 2: SAFARI
A typical day in the wildlife reserve starts early. The morning sun creates beautiful light and atmosphere in the bush, and there are good chances of seeing animals at this time of day. Later, healthy and good "brunch" awaits at the lodge, followed by relaxation at the pool. In the afternoon, you go out again on safari. The day ends with dinner under the African starry sky.

DAY 3 - 8: FANCOURT
After the morning safari, you will travel to South Africa's premier golf resort, Fancourt. The luxurious hotel is beautifully situated with swimming pool, restaurants, spa and a host of other amenities. Here you can choose from four different golf courses, Outeniqua, Montagu, Links and Bramble Hill - all designed by Gary Player and opened in 1991. The area is three times larger than Monaco. Three of these golf courses are ranked among the top 20 golf courses in South Africa by Golf Digest.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE
After morning activities and breakfast, you will be driven to the airport well in advance of your return journey.
If you are not ready to go home, Garden Route has many other exciting experiences to offer. Among other things, you can explore the ostrich capital Oudshoorn or visit the coastal town of Knysna.
