Botswana focuses on ecotourism with a focus on low environmental footprint and preservation of the country's unique ecosystems. On this journey, you will experience the best of Botswana on beautiful, environmentally-friendly Botswana lodges. Here it will be a special safari and the journey can easily be combined with a beach holiday.

TRAVEL PROPOSAL I:

Watch video from Chobe Game Lodge…

DAY 1 AND NUMBER: CHOBE

You start your journey in Chobe National Park and live at Chobe Game Lodge (or similar). The lodge is located along the Chobe River and here there will be both the opportunity for a boat safari on the Chobe River or a traditional safari in an open car. Chobe is often called "Home of the Giants", here we find the world's largest elephant population.

Watch video from Savute Safari Lodge…

DAY 3 AND XNUM: SAVUTE

Furthermore, you travel to the area, Savuti. Here you stay at Savute Safari Lodge (or similar) and it will be a complete safari in open 4 Γ— 4 safari cars with good guides. Here you have the opportunity to see "The Savuti-pride", a herd of lions known for hunting elephants. The lodge itself is built with local timber and designed with neutral colors to blend in with the natural environment.

DAY 5 AND 6: OKAVANGO DELTA

The journey in Botswana continues into the Okavango Delta. The varied ecosystem here is home to a wide range of plants, animals and birds and the area is considered one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa! You live at Okavango Camp (or similar).

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

It's time to leave, but the adventure does not have to be over yet… Combine the safari for example with a few days in Victoria Falls or end the journey with relaxing days on the coast of Mozambique. Feel free to ask us for advice.

TRAVEL SUGGESTIONS II:

DAY 1 AND XNUM: KALAHARI

You live at Dinaka which is located in the northern part of the Kalahari Game Reserve. Here you will find some of the most unique biological diversity in all of southern Africa. Here in the desert landscape you can, among other things, experience exciting "bush-walks" with local guides. Are you really lucky maybe you will spot the big Kalahari lions!

DAY 3 AND 4: OKAVANGO DELTA

There will be accommodation at Kanana, which is located on the Xudum River in the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The activities here vary with the level of the river, but include safaris both morning and afternoon. Alternatively, explore the river in traditional mokoro boats or motorized boats. The area is especially known for its unique ecosystem.

DAY 5 AND NUMBER: MOREMI

Campem, Okuti, is located along the Maunachira River, which flows into the Xakanaxa Lagoon in the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is built in the middle of one of the best safari areas in Botswana and the camp blends in with nature. Safari in Moremi offers a rich wildlife. Here you can also explore the Okavango Delta waterways.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

It's time for departure, but the safari can easily be combined with other exciting destinations.
