Join the country with the high, red dunes, fascinating desert landscapes, lush nature reserves and exciting wildlife. The country is elongated and large; three times larger than Norway, with modest 2 million inhabitants. A gem that is still relatively undiscovered and a perfect destination for those who want to bypass the typical tourist trails. To shorten the travel time, we recommend flying between lodges. Namibia from the air is incredibly beautiful!

DAY 1: SOSSUSVLEI

You land in the capital Windhoek and travel further with small planes to the desert area at Sossusvlei. The area is known for its high sand dunes and star-shaped mountains. The colors of the dunes vary from weak apricot to deep red and stand in stark contrast to the large white plains at the foot of the dunes. Accommodation in great luxury tent at Little Kulala Camp.

DAY 2 AND XNUM: SOSSUSVLEI

The sand dunes in Sossusvlei are among the highest in the world. Sossusvlei is one of the most photographed landscapes in sub-Saharan Africa. You will understand why when you experience the sunset over the desert landscape. Without a doubt one of the best experiences you can have in the Namib Desert. An air balloon ride over this landscape is also an experience of another world.

DAY 4: HOANIB SKELETON COAST CAMP

After breakfast, you fly to the most exclusive camp of the trip, Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp. The lodge is located northwest of the country, in the Namib Desert which stretches along the coast. The landscape here is fascinating and almost a little alien. Many animals have adapted to these surroundings, among other things we find the largest concentration of desert elephants in Namibia right here.

DAY 5 AND XNUMBER: WAKE-UP

The "desert" and "safari" are not two words one hears together so often. In an area where it rains less than 10 mm annually, both lions, elephants and rhinoceros have adapted enough to their surroundings. You are looking for desert elephants, antelopes, hyenas, lions and other animals in the mighty landscape along the "skeleton coast". Skilled guides will take you on exciting safari experiences in a completely untouched landscape, both on foot and by car. Day trips to one of the desert oases can also be organized. If you live here for three nights or more, you can go on a day trip in the plane over the Skeleton Coast, with shipwrecks (hence the name), seals, sand dunes and an endless and dramatic landscape.

DAY 7: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK AND FAILURE TO RESERVE

You fly to Ongava Tented Camp located at the southern border of the Etosha National Park in the 300 square kilometer Ongava Game Reserve. The next few days offer a good mix of safaris. In Etosha there is a classic safari by car, while Ongava also offers safaris on foot.

DAY 8 AND X: SAFARI

Safari in the beautiful Ongava reserve and Etosha National Park where you can see antelope, zebra, giraffe, elephant, lions and rhinos, to name a few. Etosha is known for its large elephant flocks and also has a large population of black and white rhinos.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE

After breakfast you fly back to Windhoek and then back home to Norway. Alternatively, we recommend that you end your journey with relaxing days on the beach in beautiful Mozambique.
