On this journey, you will drive a rental car from Windhoek through the world-renowned Etosha National Park, along the Okavango River, down to the Chobe National Park in Botswana and end the journey at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe!

DAY 1: WINDHOEK

Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, pick up a rental car from Avis and drive to the accommodation in Windhoek. The rest of the day is at your disposal and can be used to relax.


DAY 2: OKONJIMA

After breakfast you travel from Windhoek and drive north to the first destination, Okonjima Game Reserve in the Otjozondjupa Reginon. Okonjima is adjacent to the "Omboroko Mountains" which roughly translated means "The place for baboons". In the afternoon, for example, you can visit the Cheetah project and learn about these endangered animals.

DAY 3 - NUMBER: ETOSHA

Today you travel on to Namibia's well-known National Park, Etosha. Etosha was declared National Park for 1907X and is home to nearly NUMBER of different animal species, 114 bird species and 340 different reptiles.

You will stay right outside the national park. And you will have the opportunity to join the safari.

DAY 6: RUNDU

You travel early from Etosha further north to Rundu. Here you have the opportunity to visit the Mbunza Living Museum, a local school or see where the Kvando people are lively by fishing. After that, drive on to the accommodation and arrive in the afternoon and have time to relax before enjoying the sunset.

DAY 7 - 8: OKAVANGO RIVER

You drive on to the Caprivi region where you will spend your next two nights at Nunda River Lodge. The lodge is located along the Okanago River. You arrive in time to enjoy a sunset cruise cruise to Popa Falls.


DAY 9: KWANDO RIVER

This morning you drive to Mahangu, which means 'food of the local people' and is located along the Okavango River. Join a morning safari in Bwabwata National Park, which stretches from the Kavango River to the west to the Kwando River to the east and incorporates the Mahangu Game Reserve.

Elephants, roan antelopes. kudu and buffaloes are some of the animals that you will most likely see in addition to a rich bird life. In the afternoon, head back to the lodge and plan the day as you wish.

DAY 10: CHOBE

You start the morning softly and drive towards Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park, the second-largest national park in Botswana. In Chobe National Park, it is one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa.

The next day, you will explore the wildlife of the Chobe National Park in the hope of seeing the African animals up close. In the afternoon, you will be on the boat cruise down the Chobe River, an outstanding experience and a great way to see the animals and enjoy the African sunset.

DAY 12: VICTORIA FALLS

Today you travel across the border to Zimbabwe and continue to Victoria Falls. You can spend the afternoon joining one of the many activities offered (not included), for example a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, known as Mosi oa Tunya- "The Smoke Thundering", among the locals. In the afternoon, enjoy the sunset on a boat cruise down the Zambezi River.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE

It's time for departure. You drive to Victoria Falls Airport and deliver the rental car. We thank you for this time!
